The Chiltern Junior Golf League is affiliated to the Bucks, Berks & Oxon Union of Golf Clubs and can trace its roots back to 1979.
There are currently eight member clubs of the League, each playing each other once, between April and September. Current member clubs are Beaconsfield, Burnham Beeches, Denham, Gerrards Cross, Harewood Downs, Harleyford, Hazlemere and Wexham Park. Apart from the main League fixtures, there is a Team Trophy, for all league member clubs, and a Pairs Team Knock-out Competition running parallel during the season. Details of both these competitions can be found on this website.
There are currently four local junior leagues – Chiltern, Vale, Thames Valley and Oxford. At the end of the season there are two inter-league trophies, the Bert Yates Trophy and the Welham Weston Trophy, which are hosted by each league according to an agreed rota..
