The Chiltern Junior Golf League is affiliated to the Bucks, Berks & Oxon Union of Golf Clubs and can trace its roots back to 1979.
There are currently seven member clubs of the League, each playing each other once, between April and September. Current member clubs are Beaconsfield, Burnham Beeches, Gerrards Cross, Harewood Downs, Harleyford, Hazlemere and Wexham Park. The role of League Organiser is held by a member of the Junior Committee at one of the member clubs. Apart from the main League fixtures, there is a Team Trophy, for all league member clubs, and a Pairs Team Knock-out Competition running parallel during the season and details can be found on this website.
There are currently four local junior leagues – Chiltern, Vale, Thames Valley and Oxford. At the end of the season there are two inter-league trophies, the Bert Yates Trophy and the Welham Weston Trophy.
This website was set up in 2011 and much of the historical data is incomplete. However, there is sufficient information to satisfy most enquiries.
